I've been trying to model a rolled boiler with a lap seam and found some interesting behavior in Fusion 360. I did what you might expect and sketched an arc around 350-ish degrees and used the flange tool to make "rolled" sheet metal from it. However, try as I might, I could not add a flange. It gives errors even if I give it plenty of space (e.g. with a 270 degree arc).I'd do this with sheet metal. Check youtube for how to unwrap/unfold a cylinder. Create the voroni pattern while it's flat and then just make it fit by manually drawing the fit-part. Don't spend too much time getting the CAD-workflow perfect because I'm pretty sure that's impossible. Just make it work manually.
